Hi! Does AoA have unshared buses to parks, & about how long is travel time to each park (especially MK)? Any tips on travel for efficiently getting back to hotel midday (with 2 strollers) for napping? (With 1 yr old twins and a 4 yr old we HAVE to nap

Hi Casey! You'll be happy to know that the Art of Animation Resort does not share buses with another resort. Travel time to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is about 15 minutes, while the trip to Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom takes around 20 minutes. You may have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for a bus to arrive, so be sure to factor that into your travel time.

Returning to the resort for a midday rest is always on my family's agenda, even though my kids have long outgrown naps. Make sure that you arrive at the parks before they open in the morning, and take advantage of the morning Extra Magic Hours. We've always found that by getting to the parks early we're able to hit all of our must-do attractions before midday and we rarely have to wait in long lines. When the crowds and the heat increase, we have lunch and then head back to our resort to rest or swim in the pool. Then we can pop back over to the park later in the day to watch a parade or fireworks show or experience some of the less crowded attractions.

You'll definitely have your hands full with three little ones and two strollers. Since you'll have to fold the strollers down on the buses, one adult will need to manage those while the other one helps the children. Thankfully the midday buses are usually fairly uncrowded, which makes traveling back to your resort easy and relaxing. If your kids happen to doze off in the stroller, consider staying in the park. When my kids were young, the activity of the morning in the park often caused them to fall asleep in their strollers, and my husband and I would let them have their nap time there while we had a nice lunch, watched an outdoor show, browsed the shops, and took turns riding the attractions that the kids couldn't.
