Is there anything special planned for the week of May 12-17th? We will be in disney world and it there is special events going on during that time we would love to attend? I heard that something is going on for Princess Merida?

    Hi there, Dimitra!

You are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort at a perfect time!  The 20th Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival continues through May 19.  There are fabulous displays throughout the park for children and adults to enjoy!  Don't miss the Cars display near Test Track!  For Mother's Day on May 12, most Walt Disney World Resorts will host Mother's Day brunches.  What a great way to celebrate your special day! Unfortunately, you will miss Princess Merida's coronation as an official Disney Princess by one day.  On May 11, she will be crowned the 11th Disney Princess in Magic Kingdom Park.  However, Star Wars Weekends begin May 17 at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Check it out, and "may the force be with you!"

Please let me know if I can help answer any other planning questions, Dimitra.

Until then, I wish you a magical vacation!
