Can anyone tell me if at Storybook Dining (Artist point) if the prime rib is made to order? I have 2 picky eaters that will only eat well done. In their defense, 1 has a medical issue that requires well done beef. Thanks!

    Hi Angela,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Doesn’t Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White look amazing? My dear friend and fellow Panelist Ashley P. visited recently, and she just raved about the meal, from the ambience to the delicious food to the character experience. I can’t wait for my chance to dine in the enchanted forest!

My family often orders steak and prime rib from Walt Disney World Resort Table-Service restaurants, and we are always asked how we would like our meat cooked. Some of my family members do prefer their beef well done, and we’ve had no problem with that request. Especially since there’s a medical reason for the request, I highly recommend making your dining reservation by calling (407) WDW-DINE so you can double-check that this request can be accommodated. The Cast Member you speak with can also make a note on the reservation that you need well-done meat for medical reasons.

Angela, did you know that there’s a Special Dietary Requests team at Walt Disney World? Their role is to help families with special dietary needs so they are able to eat safely and focus on making magical memories together. You’re welcome to reach out to them if you have questions about your family member’s dietary needs; there’s lots of helpful information about dining all around Walt Disney World on their website, and you’ll find their contact information there as well.

Since I’m talking to a fellow prime rib fan, I’m going to share with you my family’s favorite restaurant for prime rib at Walt Disney World: Olivia’s Café at Disney’s Old Key West Resort. Their Slow-Cooked Prime Rib is scrumptious, and the side of Olivia’s Potatoes is divine. I also love the Southernmost Buttermilk Fried Chicken, and don’t miss the Banana Bread Pudding Sundae. SO good!

I hope you enjoy your storybook dining experience from start to finish, and that your visit to Walt Disney World is full of your favorite things with your favorite people. Enjoy!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
