Hi, can anyone recommend what can kids wear in case they get separated from their parents? I read there are bracelets and something for shoe laces, but do not know which one is better or where to buy them. Thanks!!

    Hi there, Michelle!

As you have encountered, there are loads of ways to help identify a child in case s/he is ever lost at Walt Disney World. It's a scary prospect, but Cast Members are very well-trained in how to handle that situation, and security at the Parks is wonderfully skilled.

The three top suggestions I can offer - in no order - are:

1 - A pet ID tag! These can be purchased at any larger pet store, and made on the spot. The tag can then be threaded through a shoelace or slipped onto a necklace.

2 - A custom dog tag. Like a member of the military might wear, this dog tag would be worn on a necklace. The dog tag can be ordered online.

3 - A custom silicone band. Sites like http://www.shanrene.com/page/001/CON/custom-wristband-info offer a variety of colors, sizes, and can be printed singularly or in large batches.

These are all water-resistant and will not easily be lost, provided the sizing is right. There's also no danger of the information becoming unreadable, as there might be with a handwritten tag or even ink used on a shirt.

Have a wonderful - and safe! - trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
