Mom and daughter on Expedition Everest

Has anyone every tried the baby sitting services offered by hotels or local company's? It seems strange to leave your kids with an unknown person. Just curious on what your feedback is.

My husband and I have used a local sitting service, Michelle.  Way back during our first family trip we hired a sitter from Fairy Godmothers.  She was a very professional woman, I'd guess in her early thirties.  She arrived in a timely manner and was attentive as I went over all the details I thought she needed to know.  She was especially careful about getting all the details of caring for my daughter with special needs.  While we might have been hesitant to leave an infant with someone we didn't know, the fact that my oldest daughter was nine at the time was helpful.  In the years since, we've also used Disney's children's activity centers at various resorts and have been pleased with the service.  Disney recommends Kids Nite Out, so I'm sure they're great, too.  Good luck!
