Are annual passholders allowed to park for free at a resort, if they are not staying at the resort, and do not have a dining reservation? I am just interested in looking at Christmas decorations, and shopping.

    Hello Karen!
I have good news for you because any Guest typically can park at a resort if they are shopping there as long as their vehicle is only parked there during the time that they are shopping or looking at the holiday decorations (leaving vehicles at a resort while Guests are at a theme park is not permitted unless the Guest is staying at that particular Walt Disney World Resort). All you need to do is tell the Cast Member at the security gate at the resort that you want to go into that you want to shop and look at the decorations and they should let you in (keep in mind that at some of the busiest times of year the resort parking is restricted to those Guests staying at that resort or those Guests with Advanced Dining Reservations at that particular resort). If parking is restricted, then you could always park at one of the four theme parks (parking at the theme parks is free if you have an Annual Pass) and then use the Walt Disney World Transportation System to get to the resorts that you wish to go to. I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
