I have an Annual Pass. I read in the MousePlanet site that Annual Pass holders get a discount on the meal plan, is this true? Thanks so much. Norma Jean, Hammonton NJ

I am also a Disney World annual pass holder. If you click HERE, you will see the benefits associated with an annual pass. There are discounts available to passholders at a select few WDW area restaurants, I have never heard of any discount on the Disney Dining Plan as a whole for passholders. (If you have any questions about benefits, the Annual Passholder Office at 407-560-PASS is a great source of information.)

I'm guessing that what you read on MousePlanet may have been referring to the Disney Dining Experience (DDE) card, which is a special benefit only available to annual passholders and Florida residents. This is not the same thing as the Dining Plan. I have purchased the DDE card an found that it has given my family substantial savings on dining at Walt Disney World. You can read more about my experiences with this HERE and HERE.
