    Doug from FL Asked

can my annual pass magic band be linked to my credit card to make purchases on property

Hey there, Doug! Thanks for stopping by to see us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm always happy to say hello to another Floridian!

As a Florida Resident Annual Passholder myself, I have quite a few MagicBands. I love the versatility they offer, acting as your Theme Park admission, FastPass+ entry, and even a Disney PhotoPass photo album of sorts. My biggest problem is choosing which color MagicBand to wear when we visit a Theme Park for a day!

Doug, Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can also use MagicBands as payment for meals and merchandise because the bands are linked to the room reservation, not to a credit card. So if you're staying in a Resort hotel, each time you use a MagicBand to pay for something, that item is added to your overall room folio, which is then charged to the credit card on file. I know it would be super convenient to use MagicBands for everything, but for Guests' security, Disney does not link credit cards to the MagicBands themselves.

Also, don't forget to bring your Annual Pass card with you anytime you visit the Theme Parks! You'll need to show it to take advantage of your Annual Passholder discounts.

I hope this helps you get the most of your Annual Pass, Doug. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
