My annual pass expires Sep, 27th 2019 and I would like to go on the 20th but I'm blocked out that day. If I renew on the 20th can I go into both parks? Or if I upgrade to the Flex Pass can I get in without a reservation on the day I upgrade?

    Hello, Olivia,

It sounds like you are nearly due to start up a whole new year of adventure and fantasy at the Disneyland Resort. When guests purchase and activate a new Annual Passport, the new Passport may typically be used on the same date, even if it is a blockout date for the level of Passport purchased. Because new Passports must be purchased with at least a down payment, this first-day entrance courtesy is basically like upgrading a regular park ticket that would not otherwise be subject to blockout. When renewing an existing Annual Passport, the full price will be financed into a monthly payment plan, if eligible. In such cases, a new down payment is not required. This also means that regular blackout dates apply to both the remainder of the current Passport term and the new Passport term. If during renewal you choose to upgrade to a higher level of Passport, you will be eligible for the benefits associated with that new Passport starting with the date of the new Passport year. If that new Passport type is the Disney Flex Passport and you are already within less than 30 days before the expiration of your existing Passport, you will able to make up to two reservations for dates after your Flex Passport is valid.

If you plan on visiting on a blockout date, I would recommend keeping an eye on the special offers page. The current offer for Passholders to purchase tickets at a special price will expire August 30, 2019. But you never know if new offers may come up. There’s a lot to look forward to at the Disneyland Resort. I hope you get a chance to enjoy many visits to come.

    Have a magical time, Olivia!
