    Will from Kent Asked

I have 2 annual pass exchange certificates after i got married at Disney in 2013. We are coming back next year so i'm looking to make sure they are usable. What level of annual pass are they exchanged at in today's tier system??

Will, it sounds like you've been holding onto those Annual Passes, waiting for the perfect opportunity to use them. If you haven't visited Walt Disney World Resort since 2013, you're going to be impressed with what's been happening over the last few yEARs! The Imagineers have been pretty busy, between the openings of Pandora - The World of Avatar in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Toy Story Land in Disney's Hollywood Studios. And 2020 will be the perfect time to come and see what everyone's been waiting for- Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge!

If you haven't done so already, create a My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World website. You'll be able to link your Annual Passes using the numbers that are printed on the exchange certificates. Once you do that, it will tell you what type of Annual Pass you have, and if it's still valid. If this doesn't work, call the help desk at 0800 16 90 749 (UK). When you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, visit a Guest Relations window at any of the four theme parks (or Disney Springs) to receive your Annual Passholder card.

Having your Annual Passes linked to your My Disney Experience account also allows you to make FastPass+ selections before your trip, which is the best way to experience the more popular attractions because you get to skip the Standby queue. Guests staying on property can do this 60 days in advance of their trip (30 days if staying off-property).

I hope I've answered your questions, Will. Please visit us again if you have any more planning questions!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
