I have an annual pass but I am blocked right now until January. My aunt and uncle are paying for me to go with them to Disneyland on Friday. And I was wondering if even though I’m blocked do I still get free parking and discounts in the park?

    Hi there, Rachel!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you stopped by.

I hope you’re enjoying all the perks and benefits of your Annual Passport membership. That’s wonderful that your aunt and uncle are paying for your Park Ticket so you can all enjoy the magic of the Holidays at Disneyland Resort together.

If your Annual Passport includes parking, your parking amenity is valid as long as your Passport isn’t blocked out at both parks. So, if your Passport is blocked on the day of your visit, you will still need to pay for parking. Your Passport discounts, on the other hand, should still be valid on your merchandise and dining purchases at the Disneyland Resort.

Another option for you to consider is upgrading your Annual Passport to a Passport that isn’t blocked out on the day of your visit. You can do this by visiting the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth. You can also be reimbursed for your parking that day if you upgrade to one of the following Annual Passports that includes parking: Disney Premier Passport, Disney Signature Plus Annual Passport, or Disney Signature Annual Passport.

To receive your reimbursement, you will need to park in one of the following parking areas: Toy Story Parking Area, the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, or the Pumbaa Parking Area. Simply present your paid parking ticket during your upgrade transaction, and you’ll be reimbursed.

I hope this information helps during your future visits to the Disneyland Resort, and I wish you a very merry day at The Happiest Place on Earth!

    See ya’ real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
