10th Anniversary trip w/just hubby! Staying POR (1st time!); departure day riding Magic Exp to MCO, flight at 3:45 PM. Wanting to enjoy our resort a little, yet soak in some last Disney Magic before we go. Any suggestions? Good breakfast spot? THANKS!

    Hi Tami!

    Congratulations on your Anniversary Trip!

I have a great spot in mind that will allow you to enjoy the amenities of your resort, and have a great breakfast!

First, arrange for Bell Services to come pick you and your luggage up in one of their great little golf carts to whisk you over to the resort's lobby area to check your bags. Grab yourselves a cappuccino, coffee or tea and sit outside the mill relaxing. When boat service begins at 10:00am, jump on a ferry headed to Downtown Disney. Once there, stroll along the Marketplace and down to the Pleasure island dock which is located just behind Paradiso 37. This is where you'll board a ferry headed to Disney's Old Key West Resort, the location of one of my new favourite breakfast spots - Olivia's Cafe. I so highly recommend the Banana Bread French Toast. My husband's favourite is the Conch Republic Omelet. Check out their breakfast menu on the link I've included for you.

After breakfast, board a ferry or bus back to Downtown Disney for some last minute shopping. When you're ready, jump on the boat at the Marketplace dock and head back to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, and enjoy the meandering walk through the property and back to Riverside. It's such a beautiful resort area to stroll and enjoy.

I hope these suggestions help you plan the perfect morning for your last, magical day at Walt Disney World Tami!

Please visit me again soon. I'd love to hear from you!
