Mom And Daughter Resort Room

Hello Anna! husband and I have been to Disney 3 times before. Only once with our young children. Always have stayed on property. We were planning on a June trip this year. What do you think about the Carribbean Resort? Thanks

Hi, Stacy!  I have stayed twice at the Caribbean Beach Resort, I love the lush tropical feeling of the resort!  The resort itself is huge, but there are nine pools, so no matter where you are, there is someplace to go swimming nearby.  The pool area here for kids is amazing, with a pirate ship water play area that I know my kids LOVE.

I will say this is not my favorite moderate resort, but that is mostly because often when we travel to Walt Disney World, my in-laws, who are local, will come and visit us to have dinner or go to the theme parks.  My mother-in-law cannot climb stairs due to several disabilities, and there is no elevator in any of the buildings at this resort.  Also, I have the worst sense of direction, and because of the size of the resort, it's often difficult for me to get from one spot to another without getting lost going and coming.  I have the same problem at Saratoga Springs Resort.

The rooms here are quite comfortable - and the pirate themed rooms, if you opt for one of those, are beautifully themed.  You will find all sorts of activities at Caribbean Beach Resort, including peddle boats, bicycles, and Sea Racers.

We definitely enjoyed our two vacation stays at Caribbean Beach, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.  Just make sure you can do the stairs or request a first floor room (which is not guaranteed).  And if, like me, you are directionally challenged, keep your resort map handy!

    Have a magical vacation!
