Are the animals out year around at the animal kingdom lodge savannas? Planning a trip in November and want to make sure that animals will still be out if i get a savanna view room. Thxs!!!

    Hi, Kelly!

I am happy to report that the animals are out on the savannas year round at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Here are a couple of things to be aware of, however...  IF there is any unusual and severely inclement weather, the animals may be moved to their barns for their own protection.  Also, there are times the animals won't like the weather and may decide to seek shelter on their own.  Lastly,  remember that all the animals are provided with an environment that encourages natural behavior and mimics life on an authentic savanna.  Bearing this in mind, the animals will venture out on the savanna each day when they feel comfortable doing so on their own.

Have a wonderful time planning what is sure to be an amazing vacation.  Please feel free to come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other planning questions you may have.  I wish you a truly magical vacation, Kelly!

    Magically yours in 2018,
