Hi Andi, I am going on the Disney Dream with my 80 year old Mother in Law to celebrate her Birthday. It is just her and myself. We are gong Nov. 17-20th, our first cruise. We are staying in a Family Concierge room with veranda. Any tips?

    Hi, Ellen!

Yes, I have some advice...TAKE ME WITH YOU!! I could give you a private tour of the ship, and I'll even volunteer to sleep in the upper berth!

The Concierge Family Staterooms on the Disney Dream provide the comfort and convenience of the Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandahs but with a little more elbow room and the added accessibility of the concierge-level areas and services.  I recommend taking advantage of the concierge services before you leave home by booking adult dining at Palo and/or Remy and spa experiences at Senses Spa. Your mother in law may enjoy a Rainforest Day Pass at the spa or treat her to a massage at one of the open-air cabanas on Castaway Cay.  Plus, the concierge staff are experts at planning special celebrations...make sure they know about your birthday girl!

I'm so tickled that you're doing this first cruise with your mother in law celebrating her milestone birthday -- you gals are going to have a blast! And if you think of more questions before you sail, please stop by again. I'd be happy to help!

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
