    Lynn from ON Asked

Hi Andi, would appreciate info on Disney Quest, our family (kids 10-24 yrs) will be there for the 1st time. Is there a best time of day/week day to go, are there line ups for the games, what are the must do games? Any other info would be great. TYVM

Hi, Lynn! DisneyQuest (DQ) is 5 floors of cutting-edge technology gaming, virtual reality and 3D encounters. We've experienced this interactive, one-of-a-kind indoor theme park several times, and it is certainly geared to the ages of your children!

For the best time of day/week, I would advise avoiding DQ anytime the weather is bad -- that's when EVERYONE is there. When DQ first opens (around 11:30 a.m.) is the very best time, and Sunday morning is probably the best day. In fact, based on our last time at WDW, a good plan of action is to go to the earliest seating of the Sunday Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues and then hit DQ. We had the run of the place!

There are lines for some of the most popular games/attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, CyberSpace Mountain and Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters. However, just like the theme parks, if you experience those at opening, you may get to have several chances before the crowds/lines form.

As a mom, allow me a few more DQ helpful hints:

    • Although it's indoors, DQ is huge, and for the most part, it's dark! Make sure you know where everyone is by having cell phones or walkie-talkie's on everyone.
    • Make plans to eat before you get there. There are many great dining options at DTD that it would be a shame to waste a meal on the express food at DQ.
    • If you have a Water Park Fun & More Option on your tickets, DQ counts as one visit each day.
    • Don't waste admission if you don't have more than 2 hours you can dedicate -- optimally 4-6 hours.

I sure hope this helps you plan, and thanks for visiting me on the Moms Panel. Come back if you have more questions. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
