Hello Amy If my flight arrives at 1am on Sept 6th can I check in then & should I book a room saying I'm arriving on Sept 5th so that I have a room to check in to? Any advice you can give to deal with this situation would be appreciated.

    Hello Lisa,

Thank you for continuing to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we love seeing Guests return time and time again for more magical help.

This is a fantastic question, because you are arriving an hour into Sunday, September 6th and would love to rest your weary eyes at home in Walt Disney World, I recommend making a reservation for Saturday, September 5th. Because check-in time is typically around 3:00 p.m. for most resorts (FYI: check-out is 11:00 a.m.) a room can not be guaranteed ready for you upon your arrival. However, to make sure a pillow and bed is ready for your sleepy head, consider adding on Saturday, September 5th. While I am unsure which Walt Disney World Resort you are residing in during your vacation, if you need to make it economical for one night consider staying at one of the "Value Resorts." The following day, Guest Services can and will guide you in transfering your luggage to your Walt Disney World home away from home. Keep in mind, if using Disney's Magical Express, you will need to collect your luggage from the luggage carousel before heading to your magical destination.

Lisa, if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
