Hi Amber, Love this panel!!!You said you rhave driven to WDW, we will be driving from Collegeville, PA in May, any tips? have a 6 yr boy & 2yr girl. Plan to leave at 8pm on friday nite. staying at Liki Tiki (paid) and don't have a huge budget - 2000t

Hi Bela!  Thanks for the question! It looks like you cut off so I'll answer it as best as I can. Please ask any follow up questions you may have! :)

Since you are leaving in the evening, I'm assuming that you plan to drive through the night. I have found with small children, this is the best way to drive such a long distance - especially when you have someone to share the driving with. Hopefully your children will sleep for a large chunk of the time you'll be spending in the car.

When we drive a long distance I always have a car survival bag ready to keep the kids occupied. I stock up on snacks that are easy to eat in the car like goldfish crackers and fruit snacks. Before the trip I go to the local dollar store and buy a bunch of little things like coloring books and crayons, picture books and little toys. Most Target stores have a dollar section now and I have found lots of great things here like Disney stickers, markers, paper and books. These things can be inexpensive, but it's amazing how the novelty of something new can really keep your kids happy!

Before our last long car trip, I bought my daughter a portable DVD player and it really did help keep her happy. Even though my husband and I had to listen to the same Little Einsteins DVD three times in a row! It was a small price to pay for a happy two year old though.

You can definitely enjoy Disney on a budget. One of the best ways to save money is to eat a quick breakfast in your hotel room before heading to the parks. You can also bring snacks into the parks with you to save money throughout the day. Since you are driving, I would suggest bringing a supply of bottled water, snacks and quick breakfast food.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with!
