Amazing panel. Don't know what I'd do without it. My Q is do adults really dress up for MNSSHP? I really don't want to go all out and find out that I'm they only one in a costume. Thanks

    Hi Reham,

Thank you for your kind words! We love assisting guests like you plan your trips to the most magical place on Earth.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is one of my all time favorite events at the Magic Kingdom.  Adults absolutely go in costume for this event.  Its the one time adults are encouraged to wear costumes in the Magic Kingdom.  I've already got mine ready for this year (okay - so its the same one I wore last year but I liked it so much I'm repeating it).

You'll be amazed at how elaborate some of the costumes are that Guests come up with.  Last year I saw a lady in an ECV that looked like a boat from the Jungle Cruise & she was dressed as a Jungle Boat Captain - it was GREAT!  This is certainly a people watching event.

When selecting a costume, remember you'll be walking around and boarding attractions so you don't want anything too cumbersome.  Comfortable shoes are a must for me no matter what costume I'm wearing. They don't like adults to wear masks or other items that completely cover their faces.

Not every adult or child go in costume so if you elect not to dress up, you won't be alone.  However, I highly recommend it because its great to get in the spirit of this way cool event.

Wishing you minnie spooktacular memories :-) Allison
