hi amanda. what is this new Fantasy Faire area like? is it similar to what we had before but in a new area, ie. a hall where we meet all the princesses, or is it more like toontown, where we meet the princesses in each of their homes?

    Hi there Lisa,

To answer your question "Is it more like Toontown or the old Princess Fantasy Faire," the answer is "Niether."  The all new Fantasy Faire is completely unique and original!  I had the privilege of attending a special preview of Fantasy Faire before it opened to the public and I was able to take in all of the sights, sounds, and even tastes of the magical new area in Disneyland Park. Fantasy Faire is a new immersive experience located at the end of Main Street in the shadow of Sleeping Beauty Castle!  This storybook village is home to the Disney Princesses and not only can guests meet with these leading ladies in the stunningly elegant Royal Hall, they can enjoy two hilarious and entertaining shows in the Royal Theater where the stories of Belle and Rapunzel are retold by Vaudville-style players.

In addition to the two main attractions (Royal Hall and The Royal Theatre), guests can take a moment to enjoy the intricate details and magical theming of this amazing new area.  Imagine walking into a village reminiscent of those described in your favorite childhood storybooks.  There are magical touches everywhere, from the Tangled Tower which lights up at night to Clopin's Music Box, and the animatronic Figaro the Cat.

If you become hungry while exploring the village, you can grab a sweet or savory pastry twist from Maurice's Snack Cart and be sure to stop into Fairytale Treasures for the finest wares in all the land!

Hope this helps paint a picture of Fantasy Faire for you!

    As always, Lisa, Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
