Hi Moms! I already have two magic bands from previous trips and will be receiving another for my upcoming trip. Are all the bands active or only the new one? I would love to swap different colored bands each day!

    Hi Pamela,

Don't you just love MagicBands?  I'm a huge fan of having an "all-in-one" device that works as my ticket into the park, my key to my room, my FastPass+ entry, to link my PhotoPass pictures and to make charges back to my room.  Not to mention they are just FUN, especially when you start to customize them with accessories to match your favorite characters or to coordinate with your outfit for that day.  I even saw there's a new slider for MagicBands that is a digital watch, which is perfect since I always catch myself looking at mine to try to find the time.

You will definitely be able to use your new MagicBand, along with the ones you've received for past visits.  Those can all be used interchangeably, as long as they are all still active.  To confirm that before your trip, just visit My Disney Experience, find the MagicBands and Cards link and you will see all your MagicBands on that site.  Just click on each one to be sure you see the message "This MagicBand is Active."  You can also deactivate or indicate that a MagicBand is lost at any time.

Have fun building up your MagicBand collection, Pamela!  Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again with any other questions we can help answer.

    Have a magical day!
