I can already tell you all are going to be fantastic! I am planning our first family trip and was looking into Photopass so that I could be in pics 2. As I am a photographer, would it be possible to bring along a tripod for some posed fam pics to save $?

    Hello Jennifer,

A Mom's work is never done...not even while we're on a magical vacation to Disney World!

I'm a fan of Disney's PhotoPass because while I may not be professional photographer like you, I am the certified family picture taker. And inevitably, I am rarely in a shot with the rest of my family members. So PhotoPass ensures my daughter can look back at our vacations and see I was actually a part of them!

If you are willing to carry some of your camera gear and tripod into the Parks with you, that's great. I know some photographers - both professional and amateur - who have done so and have gotten some amazing shots at Disney. There are always helpful Cast Members around willing to snap a photo of your family so you can be in the shot. But remember, if you are planning to ride many of the attractions, you will have to toss the tripod into a locker. And depending on when you visit, carrying a lot of gear can contribute to an already hot day.

    Hope this helps! Keep smiling!
