    Tiffany from NV Asked

I’ve already paid for my tickets and trip in September. But realized that I want to get a photo pass. Can you still purchase one? Can you do it online and add it to the already paid tickets? Or can I buy it for the same cost when we arrive at Disney.

Hi there, Tiffany, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

September is a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort. The crowds get slimmer, the weather gets cooler, and fall is in the air. You’re going to make so many special memories at the Happiest Place on Earth!

I’m happy to report that you can purchase Disney PhotoPass+ One Week or add the Disney MaxPass feature to your ticket upon arrival at the Disneyland Resort, at the same cost as if you had previously purchased it. If you’re planning to enjoy a longer stay at the Disneyland Resort, you may want to opt for Disney PhotoPass+ One Week, since it includes digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass Service photos, attraction photos, and dining photos from seven consecutive days, for one price. However, if you’re planning a shorter visit, you may wish to add Disney MaxPass to your ticket on a daily basis instead. Not only does MaxPass include unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads, but it also allows you to make digital Disney FASTPASS selections directly from your phone! This is a huge convenience, especially when park hopping! Currently, MaxPass is available for $15 per ticket, per day. Disney PhotoPass+ One Week is currently offered at $78.

Keep in mind that Disney PhotoPass photos must be linked to your Disney account in order to be downloaded. So, you’ll need to create your Disney account ahead of time, and have the Disneyland app downloaded, too.

My favorite thing about Disney PhotoPass photos is that everyone in your group gets in the picture at the same time! Plus, PhotoPass Photographers know just how to pose the group to get the perfect shot. My favorite PhotoPass spot in Disney California Adventure Park is in Cars Land at dusk, when the vibrant lights of Radiator Springs come alive! In Disneyland Park, you can’t beat the PhotoPass location in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle… it’s a classic!

I hope this helps as you plan your upcoming vacation to the Disneyland Resort! Please stop by with any other planning questions you may have… we’re all EARs!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
