We already booked Disney's Magical Express and received the luggage tags, but now have decided to rent a car. Can we still attach the luggage tags and expect our bags to arrive at our resort even though we don't physically take the bus?

    Hi Kyle!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your trip is just a few days away, so you must be getting excited!

Disney’s Magical Express Luggage Service is designed for Guests who will actually be taking the Magical Express Bus to their resort. If you will not actually be boarding the bus, you will need to pick up your luggage from baggage claim. While a bit complicated, if you wanted to use the luggage service but still wanted to rent a car, you could send one member of your party on Disney’s Magical Express, while the other party picked up the vehicle. You could then meet back up upon arrival at the resort. This would allow your luggage to be handled by Disney. Keep in mind that luggage transferred by Disney can take several hours to arrive at your resort, so be sure to keep anything of immediate importance in your carry on.

Have a truly magical vacation next week, Kyle. I hope we have been able to help you here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Happy Packing!
