I have already booked a 10 day trip for next month, but I think it wold make sense to upgrade to an annual pass as we may go back for a couple of days at Christmas. If my trip is paid for, can I still upgrade, and, if so, would it be more costly?

    Hi Suzy,

If you are fairly certain you will be returning to Walt Disney World within a year, it might make perfect sense to upgrade to an Annual Pass. You would have to upgrade your ticket at a Guest Relations location. As long as you have not used all of the admissions on your ticket, you will be given credit for your ticket and have to pay the difference to upgrade to the Annual Pass.

For example, a ten day theme park ticket with the park hopper option is currently $429.00. The current price of an Annual Pass is $654. As long as you have theme park admissions remaining on the ticket, you would pay $225.00 (plus tax) to upgrade. **Please remember prices and policies are subject to change at any time!

Another great benefit of being a Passholder is the possibility of a resort discount. It's a great benefit, but it does make it almost too easy to plan more trips to Walt Disney World! You can check out the Passholder Program to see all of the benefits of an Annual Pass.
