Aloha We’re staying at a Disney hotel for 4 days and because we can’t check in until after 3 pm, are we able to enter a park that morning by using our magic bands? Thank you, this is our first time using the magic bands.

Aloha, Gay! It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It sounds like you and I have a lot in common because I also like to time an early arrival for my family, and even a late departure, so we can squeeze as much magic as possible into our vacation. If you're arriving at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel before the official check-in time, there's no need to worry because you can start having fun the moment you get there. You can drop off any luggage you have with Bell Services at the Front Desk, and because your theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account, you'll be able to use your MagicBand to enter the parks even though you haven't checked in to your room yet. Make sure you wear your MagicBand when you travel or pack it in your carry-on because you'll also need to it to check-in to Disney's Magical Express.

Here's a pro tip for when you're planning an early arrival to Walt Disney World Resort: use online check-in! You can start the check-in process before you even arrive, which saves you precious vacation time when all you want to do is just run straight to Space Mountain. When your room is ready, you'll get a text letting you know, and your room number will appear in your My Disney Experience app. You can head back to your Resort Hotel whenever you're ready, and use your MagicBand or your smartphone to unlock your door.

    Have a magical day, Gay!
