Aloha, My Ohana and I will be visiting your park in June, This will be my 7 and 10 year old FIRST TIME visit.....But because I have a disability. What would be the best way to plan out our day at your park to make it memorable for them......Mahalo

    Hi, Kehau!

I‘m so happy to hear you’re planning your kids’ first vacation to the Disneyland Resort. It’s going to be a magical visit for you all!

A great first step would be to browse at home so you can create a family wish list of attractions and entertainment. Be sure to utilize Disney’s FASTPASS service when available to optimize your time in the parks! Be sure to check out the interactive attractions list online—the list can be sorted by height requirement, thrill level, or interest group. There is also a page on with lots of information about services for Guests with disabilities. It offers custom assistance and tips depending on your specific disability or special access need.

If you’re staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you’ll be as close to the parks as possible and able to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hour each morning. I also suggest making dining reservations now for any table-service meals you might like to enjoy.

Be sure to try Flo’s V8 Café in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park, which features classic American cuisine. The décor is inspired by drive-up diners and features a spectacular view of cars speeding by on the Radiator Springs Racers attraction. You’ll want to see Cars Land during the day and also at night when the neon lights are aglow!

Don’t forget to pick up complimentary “first visit” buttons for your kids upon arrival, Kehau. Visit me again with more questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventure!

    Wishing you magic,
