It is almost time to pick my FP+ selections for my trip with my 3yo son in Feb. I'm having trouble deciding what to pick and when. I know we want to meet Mickey at Town Square. How do I choose what to FP? Is it better to use FP in the AM or PM? THANKS!

    Hey Shanna!

This is such an exciting time in your Disney vacation planning! For me, making my FastPass+ selections is when I know my trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the corner.

I am a big believer is making FastPass+ selections in the mid-morning. I have a couple of reasons for this:

    1. You can sleep in a little knowing that you will definitely be able to experience your favorite attractions. With a 3-year-old, getting a good night's sleep will be great way to start any day.
    2. If you do decide to arrive early, you will most likely be able to take in your favorite attractions with shorter waits, then enjoy them again using your FastPass+ selection. Typically, the first couple of hours the parks are open have low crowd levels.
    3. By making your selections earlier in the day you will have a chance to make more FastPass+ selections using the FastPass+ kiosks later in the day.

As far as which FastPass+-enabled attractions to choose, I recommend choosing the ones which historically have lines but are also your family's favorites. For example, even though Star Tours typically has long lines, I wouldn't chose it as one of my FastPass+ selections because it isn't a favorite for my family. Instead we would select an attraction such as Toy Story Midway Mania which is definitely a family favorite.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about Disney's FastPass+ service or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and pixie-dusted day!
