We will have an 8 almost 9 month old during the time we plan to visit but we also have a 8 year old a 6 year old and a 3 1/2 year old and don't want to miss out on all of the rides with our kids how many rides will they allow you to take a baby on your lap

    Hello Heather!

I think the BEST way to experience the Disney Magic is with a large family!!!  I can't begin to tell you how much fun you all are going to have!  You are going to be pleasantly surprised at just how many Disney attractions your eight month old baby will be allowed to ride at each of the Disney Theme Parks!  To give you a better idea of the attractions you will enjoy with your eight month old, click next to the Disney Theme Park listed below:

    Magic Kingdom:  Click HERE!
    Hollywood Studios:  Click HERE!
    EPCOT:  Click HERE!
    Animal Kingdom:  Click HERE!

NOTE:  The general rule is if the description of the attraction says Pre-schooler, then you are safe to ride the attraction with your eight month old baby.

Now, I am sure you and your older kids will want to ride all of the awesome thrill attractions as well!  Disney World offers a special service to families with small children called Rider Swap.  Rider Swap is where you wait with your baby while the rest of your family rides Space Mountain, but then you are allowed to ride Space Mountain without waiting in line twice!  Just ask a Cast Member at the attraction for a Rider Swap Pass.

I hope this helps you in your planning.  If you have other questions, please let us know!  Have a magical day!
