Is it allowed to bring our own inflatable tubes/mats to use at Castaway Cay?

    Hi there Trinity!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel; trip planning can be a job in itself so I am happy to help answer any questions you have!

Castaway Cay is quite possibly my favorite part of a Disney Cruise Line Bahamas itinerary.  My family always looks forward to our day at Castaway Cay.  My husband and I begin our day with the Castaway 5K while our young boys enjoy Scuttle’s Cove Kids Club and then we all promptly make our way to the beach for a day of sun, fun and relaxation.  Oh - and the lunch at Cookies BBQ is always a highlight of our day!

Disney Cruise Line does prohibit Guests from bringing on board personal inflatable floats and pool noodles, but float rentals are available on Castaway Cay through Port Adventures.  You can reserve them ahead of time or you can rent them on site.  Be sure to also check out the other Port Adventures activities that are offered on Castaway Cay such as parasailing, snorkeling and bicycle rentals.

Enjoy your trip to Castaway Cay and don’t forget to stop by one of the two gift shops on the island.  There you will find merchandise that is only available to purchase on Castaway Cay!

    Happy Sailing to you!
