    Monica from CA Asked

Are you allowed to bring outside food and drink into the park??

    Hi Monica,

What a great question from a fellow Californian!
Thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
At this time, guests can enjoy their own food and beverage in a great setting at the complimentary picnic area right outside of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance.
But unless you have special dietary restrictions, outside food or beverage items are not generally permitted inside Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure Park. That's not to say you will be banned from entering if you pack some snacks for your party (as I usually do for my boys) but a complete meal from home should be enjoyed outside the park, which is totally possible if you rent a locker in the esplanade, outside of the Disneyland Main Entrance, where you can store your food and head back when you're ready for meal time (re-entry to the park will be no problem if you get a hand stamp).
In my own experience, I've known of many people who pack their own lunch and arrive at the Disneyland Resort only to forget about the food they prepared and try one of the many unique menu items throughout the resort instead, like the steak gumbo at the Royal Street Veranda inside New Orleans Square or a crispy corn dog from the famous Little Red Wagon at the end of Main Street U.S.A.
The Disneyland Resort features a unique variety of dining options for all budgets and I say it's worth indulging a bit when you're at the Happiest Place on Earth!
    Have a magical time!
