Are you allowed to bring a birthday cake but not eat it at a restaurant? For example, can I bring a cake to that area of yellow chairs and outdoor tables near the Baby Center, and decorate the table and have us have a birthday party and cake there?

    Hi Kristen!

Celebrating a birthday at the Walt Disney World theme parks can prove to be tons of fun!  Being able to enjoy the attractions and entertainment on your special day is a memory that will last a lifetime!

Unfortunately, guests are not able to bring in their own cakes and decorations and have an impromptu birthday party at the parks.  One option is to order a cake from the Walt Disney World Bakery.  You can choose from a variety of flavors, styles, shapes and themes in order to make it tailored to your particular celebration!  You can have it delivered to your guest room, if you don't want to enjoy it in a restaurant, and decorate your room to your hearts content. If you like, you can have it delivered to any of the restaurants in the resorts as well.  Orders must be placed at least 48 hours prior to intended delivery date.  To order your customized cake, you can call (407) 827-2253.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
