Are you allowed to bring aboard your own laundry detergent? If so, in what form can you bring it in (liquid, pods, powder)

    Ahoy, Tyrell!

Thanks for sailing to the Disney Parks Moms Panel while you plan for your upcoming Disney Cruise! When you step aboard the ship, you'll immediately feel as if you're on a floating city! You'll have nightclubs, restaurants, multiple theaters showing movies as well as Broadway-style shows and so much more just steps away from your stateroom!

The first time we set sail on a voyage lasting two weeks or longer I packed way too much, resulting in multiple pieces of luggage filling our stateroom. Ever since then, I've packed less and visited the laundry facilities midway through the cruise! I'm glad you're planning ahead to use the laundry facilities, too!

Tyrell, you may bring your own laundry detergent onboard with you to use in the self-service laundry facilities. I checked with my friends at Disney Cruise Line and confirmed that liquid, pods and powder will all work in the washing machines onboard. If you decide to bring liquid detergent onboard, I recommend bringing it in your carry-on bags rather than checked luggage.

If you can think of any more excellent questions, please come back and visit us again! We're happy to help you navigate through the planning process!
