Hi, Allison. We are taking our kids to DisneyWorld and I would like to know whether I should take my professional camera with us and where I can use it if I do. Any tips for fantastic food on a budget would be great too.

Jana, you won't believe the number of great photo opportunities that await in this magical place! In fact, you will see all kinds of cameras within the parks from disposable to professional. The real determining factor is if you want to lug it around with you everywhere. Remember some queues for rides are tight, so if you are worried that it might get bumped or knocked around, you may decide against it. However, I think that you will be able to capture some unforgettable memories in the parks with any type of camera.
Another option to be aware of is Disney's PhotoPass. There are photographers all over the parks ready to capture photos of the entire family. Many times, the one behind the camera is missing in many family photos. With this special service, you will get to be a part of these treasured photos!

Dining in the Disney Parks is one of my favorite parts of our vacations. If your budget is pretty tight, do not fret! You'll be amazed at the options and variety of foods available even in the quick service eateries. Long gone are the days of only being able to find burgers, hot dogs and fries. Many quick service menus have salads, grilled items, and specialty sandwiches. Another great tip would be to eat two larger meals and have a light snack midday, therefore eliminating the cost of a third meal for every member of your family! There are also great table service restaurants that don't cost an arm and a leg. However, many table service places do require advanced dining reservations and book up as far out as 180 days, so you may want to get those reservations as soon as possible. Another great resource, www.disneyfoodblog.com, is full of reviews and tips for the Disney foodie.

Have a spectacular vacation and please stop by with more questions!
