On allears.net, CRT only receive 2 stars... is it really that bad? Also, is it better to do breakfast or dinner there with a 16 month old? This forum is REALLY great! Thanks!

I had breakfast with my family at Cinderella's Royal Table three days ago and had a great time. I generally hear very good things about CRT and am confused about where that allears rating might be coming from.

CRT is rather pricey compared to other character meals, but in my opinion, you get a great experience there. When we walked in, we were directed to a greeting with Cinderella. We were photographed there, the whole family, and just the kids. Because we were a party of five, both of these sets of photos were included in the price of our meal. Nice. In the dining room, my girls all received "wishing stars" and princess wands. The service was great, our drink glasses were never empty - and that's tough to accomplish with the rate of my intake of coffee in the morning :-).

And then the princesses came into the room. We saw Jasmine, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White. Each of them spent as much time at the table as we wanted. Our interactions were not rushed at all and we took several versions of photos with each princess.

The food was also quite good. My hubby, a big eater, proclaimed this the best breakfast foods at WDW. The cheesy potatoes were yummy, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the best part was the delicious stuffed French toast with blueberry topping. The meals are plated, but you can have as many refills as you want -- and we did have refills of several of the items.  Overall it was a great experience.

I personally prefer breakfast at the castle. My girls like having the full cast of princesses at the meal, rather than just the fairy godmother. I'm also a big fan of breakfast food, plus breakfast is a bit less expensive that dinner. If you want the princesses, but a bigger menu choice, then lunch might be the best option for you.
