    Jaime Asked

Hi! Our Alaska cruise is planned this June 3. Noticed a pixar pals party on the itinerary. What is this? Does it replace or is in addition to pirate night? I just need to know what to pack. Packing space limited. Any ideas to dress up for it too? Thanks,

Welcome aboard, Jaime! June 3rd will be here before you know it and you'll be heading north on what is sure to be an amazing adventure with Disney Cruise Line to Alaska!

Instead of the usual Pirates IN the Caribbean party, Disney Cruise Line's Alaskan sailings in 2013 offer the Pixar Pals Party which is held one night in the ship's atrium lobby area. Some of the most well known Pixar Pals, including Buzz and Woody, will be in the atrium to greet guests, and have an interactive song at the end. Be sure to practice up on "You've Got A Friend In Me" so you're all set to participate!

While this event isn't quite the all-out dress up event that the Pirates IN the Caribbean party is, many families will use this opportunity to let their kids wear costumes, and even some parents will get in on the fun. If your kids have Buzz or Woody costumes, that would be a great time to put them on for some wonderful photo opportunities with their Pixar Pals! Maybe you and your husband could dress up like Mr. and Mrs. Incredible! Wouldn't that be fun? And if you choose not to dress up, that is perfectly fine as well. But, don't miss the party, it's sure to be a great time!

I hope that information helps you to prepare, Jaime! Have fun as you continue planning and please let me know if you have any other questions before you set sail this summer!
