What age qualifies for an adult ticket

    Hi Kathleen,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. It’s always a pleasure to help a fellow Canadian!

Walt Disney World theme park tickets break down into two categories: Adult tickets, which are for Guests aged 10 and older, and Child tickets, which are for Guests aged 3-9. Children younger than 3 do not need a theme park ticket.

As the proud momma of a Mouseketeer who is rapidly approaching adult ticket territory, I sometimes find myself wishing up a star that she could take a trip to Neverland with Peter Pan and stop growing up! I wouldn’t mind borrowing some pixie-dust myself, to be honest. Having said that, I must admit that she really is a full-fare Guest when at Walt Disney World: she is tall enough for every attraction and mature enough to really enjoy shows and attractions aimed at older Guests. I have loved watching her grow up in the Walt Disney World theme parks, from measuring herself with her fingers crossed behind her back to carrying a purse and ordering herself a Shirley Temple at The Hollywood Brown Derby

Kathleen, for all the information on ticket pricing, including the various ticket options, add-ons, and details, please see the Theme Park Tickets web page, or contact (407) 939-5277.

Have fun planning and dreaming about your visit, and please come back to see us if we can help explain anything or provide any advice. In the meantime, if you need me, I’ll be flying high above London with Peter and friends!

    Have a magical day,
    Robyn
