My DH and DS (age 3) and I are planning our 1st WDW trip in early May 2011. I have read Toontown Fair is closing as part of the remodel. Is it true? We know alot of big rides are out do to DS size and age, can you recommend other things for us to do?

Hi, Christina!  I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised with all there is to see and do for your 3-year-old son -- even without Toontown. When Walt Disney originally designed Disneyland (and the plans for WDW), one of his chief objectives was to keep the family together...no matter what their various ages.  I think you'll be able to see that goal embedded into everything from how guest line up for attractions to how they experience them.

At the Magic Kingdom, your little one will be able to enjoy such attractions as Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear, Mickey's PhilharMagic, it's a small world, the WDW Railroad, the Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin and much more.  And of course, there's even more entertainment and attractions at the other three theme parks. In fact, as The Lion King says, "There's more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done!"

If you haven't already, take a look around the website and virtually explore the parks with your son showing him all the attractions, experiences and entertainment. Plus, make sure you order the FREE DVD. When mine were that little, they loved to play it over and over and over again...it makes for great entertainment in the car if you're driving down!

If you have more questions, come back and visit the Mom's Panel. I'd love to help! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
