    Maeve Asked

Hi again! As a first timer, I have lots of questions. Was interested if the pools at Fort Wilderness have life guards on duty or not? Also, do they have children's floatation jackets or something equivalent to rent?

    Hi again, Maeve!
Thanks for coming back to the Panel. Although the hours that they are on duty may vary based on resort and/or season, most pools do have lifeguards, but they are not on 24 hours a day. For example, during one stay in December at the Contemporary Resort, the lifeguards went off duty at 8PM. This meant that guests who chose to swim did so at their own risk (don't forget to bring a swim buddy), but they could still swim. One other thing to note is that the pool slide (if applicable) would also be closed.
Most resort pools have swim supports available either at Guest Services, the marina (if there is one) or poolside.
I hope this helps and I wish you a most Magical vacation!! :)
