    Hi Ryan,

There's no place like home for the holidays.  But if you're not going to spend them at home, Walt Disney World is a great option.  The parks are beautifully decorated, and there is a festive feel everywhere you go.

Having said that, be warned that it is a very popular Christmas destination, and the parks are extremely crowded.  In fact, if you're planning to go to a park on Christmas Day, arrive early and stay there - there's no guarantee that once you leave you'll be let back in.  If a park fills to capacity (and it usually does) they have to turn people away.

Many of the restaurants serve special holiday meals, but they don't really announce it ahead of time.  I can give you some suggestions for places other moms have had a nice holiday meal, but I can't guarantee that they will have a special menu in 2010.

Since you're planning on being in Magic Kingdom, Liberty Tavern is a great choice.  They serve Thanksgiving type food all year long, so this is your safest bet if you're counting on a turkey dinner for Christmas.

If you want to leave and head to the resorts, Artist Point has gotten great reviews.  Wilderness Lodge screams Americana, so the decor is quite homey and the food is delicious.  Likewise, Whispering Canyon Cafe is an option if you're looking for something less fancy.

You can book your reservations 180 days in advance, and you'll definitely need to in order to secure a table for Christmas Day dining.

Hope this helps.  Have fun planning your magical vacation!
