Hi Again! we are planning on coming for MNSSHP & Food & Wine can you tell me everything i need to know about these events? is the party just in MK and does the park close all day for the event? we are so excited thanks

Gina! Welcome back! We love seeing you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Okay, I am SO excited for you!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a ticketed event that starts at 7 p.m. on select nights in the Fall. However, Guests with tickets can start entering Magic Kingdom Park at 4 p.m. and I have personally even made FastPass+ selections between 4 and 7 p.m. before the party (they are not available during the party). I suggest skipping a Table Service meal as you will want to experience Trick-or-Treating, the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, Themed Fireworks show and Special Characters that you can’t see any other time! There are also special Disney Trading Pins only available during party nights, and often a selection of ghoulishly good treats! Might I suggest purchasing Memory Maker to capture all of the frighteningly good memories?

As for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, it is open to anyone with admission to Epcot, and I can tell you from experience that it fills up quickly with locals on weekends! If you can, try to go during the week for shorter lines! My friends and I got a Passport where we got to add a sticker to every country we visited and check-off what we ate or drank. We went for 3 afternoons and did not get to do all the booths because we were SO FULL. We did not eat at a restaurant to save room for the culinary delights! There are also special seminars you can take which looked like a lot of fun but we had limited time! Again, you can get pins and souvenirs only available during the festival.

I have so much more to share, but sadly I am out of room! Please come back again before you head on your magical Fall vacation!
