Hi again panel, have you any ideas on what to do for our last day our flight isnt till nighttime so will have pretty much a full day and will still have tickets for all parks will be mysef DD 8 and grandad Always appreciate your ideas Thanks

Hi there, Gina! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question today. Let's get planning!

The last day of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is certainly bittersweet. It's the day your grand adventure wraps up, so you want to make the most of it. Full disclosure, I live just an hour away so I've obviously never flown there, but we've had plenty of "last days" to fill with fun. We always start our last day with our favorite breakfast of Mickey waffles at our Resort hotel. From there, the World is the limit!

    - How about a "farewell tour" of the Theme Parks? It would take some planning, but you could try to briefly hit all four and take a PhotoPass photo waving good-bye to each one. What a fun memento that would be!

    - One thing we love to do is go Resort hopping. You could visit the fabulous Resorts on the Monorail loop for lunch or shopping, or check out a new one to consider for your next trip.

    - It may be a perfect time for a special tour or other experience you didn't have time for earlier in your trip.

    - Of course, there's always the newly reimagined Disney Springs for an unrushed farewell meal or last-minute souvenir shopping.

I hope my suggestions help spark some fun last-day ideas for you, Gina. Here's wishing all of your Disney days are filled with magic.

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
