Hi again Mom's panel! Staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge - have ADR @ Sanaa for 6:40pm.I know you can walk to Kidani Village, but walking is not an option for us.Is there any other way to get there using Disney services? How long would it take us to get there?

    Hi Marcia:

My family loves the Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is actually two Resorts, Jambo House and Kidani Village, located very close to each other.  If you are unable to walk between the two Resorts, you can use Disney World's complimentary bus transportation to travel between the two Resorts.

To get from Jambo House (where it sounds like you are staying) to Sanaa at Kidani Village by bus, take the bus marked "Downtown Disney." The "Downtown Disney" buses at Animal Kingdom lodge stop first at Jambo House, then at Kidani Village, and then travel to Downtown Disney.  To return from Kidani Village to Jambo House, take a bus to the Parks (i.e. Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom), which stop at Kidani Village first and then Jambo House before heading to the Parks.  When getting on the bus, I would inform the bus driver of the stop where you plan to disembark.  I would budget up to 25 minutes, including waiting time, since buses are scheduled to run every 20 minutes, and the actual trip between the two Resorts is about 3-5 minutes.

Bus routes are always subject to change, so make sure to confirm this information when you check in at the Resort.

    Enjoy your vacation.
