Hello again Moms/Dads. I am wondering as a Mommy of two girls, 1 yr & 7 yr what type of bag/backpack anyone could suggest to carry in the parks that can carry everything I need? Don't think a diaper bag will do the trick. I will have a stroller also

    Hi Lorie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this awesome question! As a mom to two little ones, I find that having all of the right supplies with me during a day at Walt Disney World Resort allows our day to go smoothly. For a day in the parks, I find that I need a bigger bag than my normal diaper bag. I prefer to bring a very large tote bag with a zipper that will can hang from my stroller's push bar, leaving plenty of space under the stroller for souvenirs picked up during the day. Here is what I try to have stocked in my bag for every park day:
    • Diapering essentials: Diapers or pull-ups, wipes, and extra clothes are an obvious requirement if your little one is still using them. I will always bring an extra set of clothes even for potty-trained children, just in case.
    • Empty gallon-size storage bags: Little ones can find messes in the strangest places. If we end up with something messy, it can go right in the plastic bag and my tote bag and everything else in it stays clean.
    • Water bottle or sippy cup: I like to have a water bottle or sippy cup for each of my kids that I can refill with water throughout the day. Central Florida can be very hot and humid so staying hydrated is essential!
    • Snacks: My kids can be unpredictable eaters and sometimes a snack can go a long way to getting us through a queue or allowing mommy some shopping time. I bring things like applesauce pouches, veggie straws, granola bars, and even fruit snacks for a special sweet treat.
    • Stroller blanket: Our little ones will take their afternoon naps in their stroller and in the evening will fall asleep in the stroller in the park. I bring a stroller blanket with us to help them feel more comfortable when it's time to rest. It can also help with the cooler morning and evening temperatures.

And of course, it's Florida - so don't forget the sunscreen and sunglasses! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
