Hi again:) I know you can bring an item for the characters to sign, but is there a size limit? I have an 11x14 photo mat. Also, do you wear Halloween costumes to dinner or dress later for trick or treating? Sailing Sept. 13th, kids can hardly wait! Excited

Welcome back, Kelli! With fall in full swing, that means that your Halloween on the High Seas cruise is just around the corner! How frightfully exciting!

Guests are welcome to bring up to two items per stateroom to leave at Guest Services for the characters to sign. I don't know of a specific size limit, but an 11x14 photo mat is definitely fine! I suggest bringing your own sharpies so that you can choose the colors. Just drop them in a ziploc baggie when you drop off the mat to be signed. You'll get to choose from Mickey and his crew or Princesses or both for signatures. My family always brings a little something extra, like a bag of candy, to leave as a thank you for arranging for the signatures. Just a little something sweet to let them know we appreciate it! Of course, you can always carry an autograph book or other item and simply have characters sign it when you meet them too, but we love that Disney allows us to leave items with them at Guest Services to take the hassle out of making sure we don't miss a favorite! Plus, it allows my kids more time to interact with their favorite Disney friends when they meet them onboard without having to get signatures at the same time!

There will be all sorts of fun Halloween happenings when you set sail. Since you won't get the exact schedule of events until the night before the festivities onboard, I can't tell you exactly when the different Halloween events will take place this year. But, last year, since there were parties and trick-or-treating before dinner and other Halloween fun after dinner, many guests wore costumes all day and night! You'll definitely see lots of costumes at dinner that night, so if you're up for it, join in on the fun! That means not just kids but adults too! Did you know there will even be an adults only costume party and contest?

    Have a wonderfully spooky cruise!
