    Carla from Puerto Rico Asked

Hi moms me again I'll be taking the Merrytime Cruise. Since is 5 nights, what type of clothes should i bring to the cruise? I know there is a Pirate Night. Is there another celebration that requires formal clothes? Thanks for all the help.

    Hi Carla,

Thanks for sailing by. The holidays are extra magical on board Disney Cruise Line.  The ships are absolutely gorgeous.  You will have a fantastic time!  You will have a formal evening one night of your magical sailing.  While dressing up is optional, you will notice that most passengers, particularly over the holidays take advantage of the opportunity to dress up and get some family portraits taken before or after their dinner.  I would recommend packing something a bit dressier for this night.  On formal night, you will find that most men wear a sports jacket, some with ties.  Some go "all out" and don tuxedos, but most opt for either a jacket or suit.  Women will wear dressier pants or dresses for the most part.

I hope you have a magical holiday vacation!
