Hi again! We arrive on a fri but will not be going to the park til the next day (sat). Can we reserve a DDP at chef mickey for fri without going to the park? Thanks again!!

    Hey Amy-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited for your trip to visit the place "where dreams come true".

Disney Dining Plans are a great way to have Mickey and the gang cook and clean for you. With the delicious array of foods across the Walt Disney World Resort, I know you will love every bite.

Disney Dining Plans are only available for guests staying at a Walt Disney World hotel. Meal credits are for every night of the reservation. For example, if you have a 5-night stay then you will have meal entitlements for 5 nights. These cannot be reduced or increased for a reservation.

Even though you will not be entering a Walt Disney World theme park until the second day of your vacation you will have active meal entitlements beginning the day you check-in to your Resort hotel. So enjoy your meal at Chef Mickey's on Friday and be sure to say "hi" to Mickey Mouse and the gang from me. Obviously, any reservation made for a restaurant inside a theme park requires admission to the theme park.

Disney Dad Tip: You may substitute all three items in your Counter/Quick-Service Disney Dining Plan (lunch/dinner) meal for three snacks or sides as long as it is in the same transaction. Hello, Dole Whips 1, 2 and 3. Yummy.

Amy, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories!
