Advise: car seat and stroller for 7 month old; flying-- bring you own? Rent at Disney? Going for work conference; won't be in any actual park-- Also, if car seat and stroller are checked, does Disney Express require car seat for baby to get to hotel?

Hello McKennan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Even as my children get older, having a stroller handy is crucial to happy Mouseketeers when my family vacations at Walt Disney World Resort.

As you have stated that you will not be in any of the Theme Parks, renting a stroller from a Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park is neither an option nor would it be my recommendation.

With a 7-month old, you want to have a stroller that combines comfort for your child with ease-of-use for the parents. If it is not inconvenient for you to travel with your personal stroller while traveling, I recommend that you bring the stroller that you use on a daily basis from home. This is the most affordable option and guarantees that everyone will be comfortable.

Disney's Magical Express does not require infants to be in a car seat for the trip to Walt Disney World Resort, they are free to travel on the lap of a parent.

If you are interested in renting a stroller, I have rented a stroller from a Disney Featured Provider in the past and found it a breeze. They will deliver your stroller directly to Bell Services at your Resort Hotel and the strollers were in excellent conditiion.

    Happy Travels!
