2 adults, 7, 5, and 2 yr old. 2 yr sleeps with either us or siblings. So we really don't need a suite. can we just get a standard 2 bed room? Can we add on tickets for when she turns 3? (In Aug)

    Hi Hallie,

You have a great question about room occupancy. All of the Disney Resort hotels have occupancy limits which determine how many Guests are allowed in each room. The good thing to note is that each occupancy limit also allows "plus one Guest under the age of 3 in a crib". Therefore if you time your vacation before your youngest turns 3, then your family will fit into a standard room at any of the Disney Resort hotels. Additionally your youngest will not need theme park tickets until they turn 3 years old. All of the Disney Resort hotels will provide you a pack-n-play style crib for your little one under 3 if you request it on your reservation.

If your trip occurs after your youngest turns 3 then to abide by occupancy limits you will need to select a room which allows 5 Guests. At the Value Resorts the Family Suites sleep up to 6 but the standard rooms only sleep 4. There are currently three Moderate Resorts which have some rooms which sleep up to 5 Guests. These Moderate Resorts are Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, and Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside Resort. Please note that there are a limited amount of rooms which sleep 5 in each of these Resorts, so booking early is a good idea.

If your budget is more generous you can find an ample number of rooms which sleep 5 at most of the Deluxe Resorts. The best way to find availability during your upcoming vacation dates is to either call the phone number in this link for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations or enter your data online through this link for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Online.

I hope this helps, please let me know if I can answer any further vacation planning questions!

    Blessings,
