6 adults (2 wheelchair bound), and 6 children ( age 4 and 9 first visit), will be doing 4 day/hopper week of July 21. Where do we start? which park should we visit first? Want to do/see the most in those 4 days.

    Hi Andrea,

I suggest that you check the
schedule of Walt Disney World theme park hours. Look for which park has Extra Magic Hours on each day. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, Extra Magic Hours will allow you admittance into a certain theme park one hour early or two hours late on certain days. For example, I see that Disney's Animal Kingdom has Extra Magic Hours in the morning on Wednesday July 24, so that resort guests can enter the park at 8:00 a.m. and everyone else can enter at 9:00 a.m. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, I suggest going to the park that has Extra Magic Hours. If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World resort, then avoid the park with Extra Magic Hours, as they tend to attract a lot of Walt Disney World resort guests. Either way, here is another tip - arrive about 30 minutes before the scheduled opening of the theme park. You will be amazed at how much you can get done those first few hours of the day when other guests are still in bed.

My next recommendation for you is to figure out which park you think your children will enjoy most - and save it for later in the trip! Although this might sound counterintuitive, it works. If the 4-year-old is excited to see the Magic Kingdom, it may seem like you want to go there on the first day; however, then that child might be disappointed when they visit Disney's Hollywood Studios. Along the same lines, you have a large group - do not be afraid to split up. If that little one really wants to stay at Magic Kingdom for two days, and some of the older children would rather go to Epcot, split up your group during the day and come back together for a nice dinner.

Please do not hesitate to come back and ask if you have more questions. We would love to help you plan your Walt Disney World vacation!
